Balamurugan has a great passion for portraiture, and his disability does not deter him from taking on the challenge of creating larger-than-life wall murals and wall paintings. He is always open to new ideas, and his experiences provide the incentive to dedicate his life to arts. He always looks for ordinary subjects, seeking to make them extraordinary through the way he portrays them. His sophisticated portraiture conveys a sense of luxury and contributes to a contemporary feel.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Artist Background : Balamurugan pursued BFA, MFA from Fine Art College Pondicherry. He is working as a teacher and experiments with a lot in different mediums. MASTER OF FINE ARTS (Painting), Tamilnadu Dr. J. Jayalaithaa Music And Fine Arts University Chennai 2019 to 2022 BACHELORS OF VISUAL ARTS (Painting) passed with first class, Bharathiar Palkalai Koodam, Puducherry 2012 to 2016. The artist has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Pondichery and has won the Achariya World Record 2020 and the Pidilite Awards 2014.
