Kiran A. Sherkhane is a contemporary artist with restrained mobility who uses an elbow crutch and rubber callipers. Despite having had polio (poliomyelitis, to use the medical term) for much of his life, needing physical assistance all through, and being unable to perform any physical day-to-day activity, he manages to create magnificent works of art, that are truly enchanting to our eyes. Kiran tries to illustrate the pain of disability in his art.
