Mallikarjun V. Koralli

According to studies, many polio survivors conceal their condition owing to social stigmas. However, Mallikarjun's artwork demonstrates his self-assurance in overcoming his affliction. As a child, the artist always enjoyed watching leather puppet shows. Hence, he attributes his style of work to leather puppetry. He is fascinated by colour, and he is trying to bring back the art of leather puppetry, which has become extinct in this digital world.

Artist Background : The artist is from Gulbarga, predominantly his works are bright and vibrant, and his concept is about 100-year-old treasure art –‘Leather Puppetry’.
